Wow and whew! I’ll have to think about stars. There are many layers to this book.....and open-end questions.
The class discussions raised my stars! It is good to talk about a book. Just that conversation makes a reading worthwhile. Reading together is a pleasure.

I almost cried this time.

On my first reading of this work, I considered Gatsby's main motivation to be loving Daisy. I thought the main villain was Tom. I thought Nick was straight. This second reading has enlightened me.
