I just finished Animal Farm as part of a personal project to re-read outstanding books that I read in high school and college over 50 years ago. I feel that it would be interesting to note any changes in perspective between a teenager and a now senior citizen. As to Animal Farm, it is just as good now as it was then. Brilliant work!!!
So corruption, tampering , doctoring and rephrasing of statements have been in the community since time immemorial.This book still feels as fresh and as relatable as it was when first published in 1945.
It doesn't matter whether this satire was written with reference to Russian revolution,it is going to be relatable in all ages, the only thing which has changed with time is the form of governance.. It is like old wine in new bottle!!
