My first Faulkner!
This is certainly an important and masterful work, especially given the date of publication (1929!), but the inscrutable nature of the narration caused me to give up the first few times I tried reading it, and probably personally kept me from loving it. I can see why it is taught in school(s); you need a teacher to help guide you (I used the internet, especially for the first two sections).
