What Members Thought

This was a reread for me, but the first time I've listened to it and I think Sissy Spacek is perfect for this reading. It's been a while since I last read this book, so certain details were lost until I was reminded in this reading of the book. I still love this book, even after all these years. I made it a point a long time ago to pick thru the classics one by one, leaving none of the, untouched or unread, or at the very least un-discovered by my eyes. I figured after the first couple that I went thru that they are classics for a reason, and I was right. To kill a Mockingbird is no exception.

It was a beautiful story, a reallly touching and inspiring book with a twist to it. Leaves you in hours of thoughtful satisfaction. One of the best books about growing children ever written. You can tell the author really understands what children are like i could find myself really relating to Scout and Jem with the things I got up to when I was younger

I read it in high school and that was very long ago! The characters, their names and story have always stayed with me. No wonder it's a classic.
