What Members Thought
Even though it can read like Hugo was paid by the word, I have nothing but praise for Les Miserables. The man had a lot to say, and he said it beautifully.
There is a suspenseful tale in these pages with wonderful characters you will never forget. Most people already know them from the many movies and plays based on the book. i loved the story line of jean and cosette. however, the bunny trails that victor hugo went on, were painful! i skimmed a lot of this book and a lot of parts were not needed to promote the story. im glad to be done it!
