This book is good. This book is really REALLY good. This book is better than I expected. Amazing!

This book is really a 4.4 stars. I couldn't give it 5 mostly because it didn't propel to read more. Oddly, I enjoyed the story and began to like some of the ruthless characters. Maybe it is Puzo's story telling and character development.

I had never seen the movie so the only things I recognized was "Make an offer they can't refuse" and the Horse Head Scene. Other than that, there were moments that this book completely caught me off guard. I don't know how Puzo came up with half of the stuff tha ...more

I have never seen the Godfather. So I went into this knowing nothing other than that this is a very beloved classic. I was not disappointed. It deserves all the accolades. Off to watch the movie....
