MY boyfriend made me watch this movie a few years ago, telling me it was awesome and one of his favourites. I kind of doubted him because I thought he only loved it because he had watched it when he was young. I think nearly everyone would agree that the movie is superior to the book (although Goldman wrote both). However, there are some interesting elements that aren't in the movie which readers may enjoy. If you love the movie, I would give this a try.
