Ooof, big disappointment here. The first one is great, but this sort of feels like a rehash, without actually having the capacity to impact.
Dramatic change in pacing from the first book. Very little added here in terms of plot. Not much in the way of character development. Really, this was just a side story to the main plot. Sometimes one book is better than three.
