An fantastic read, with a few flaws.
This is a genre defining classing for a reason. A truly unique and beautiful setting, a brutality that echos in works like Game Of Thrones or Attack On Titan, a plot that focuses as much on Machiavellian political maneuvering as it does on a chosen one rising up to save the world and prescient environmentalism for a book which is over 50 years old.
Unfortunately that age shows in other places too, with some very stereotypical gender roles and homophobia and fat ...more

It's been a long time since I've read this one. Aside from the strictly-gendered roles for all the characters, I'd say it holds up pretty well. (All the prescience back and forth through time is *very* '60s/'70s sci-fi, though.)
