3 of the last 5 books I listened to had a character named Howie in it (well, one was a trilogy, so 5 of the last 8/9 books). Just found that odd!

So, a teen book that sounds like it will be full of angst and drama! Sounds like my kind of book.

Well...no.
Not sure if it was because I was listening (most of the narrators were great!), but I found the book a bit dull and it fell flat.

A book about a world where you receive a phone call the day you die to let you know. Mateo is a teenager whose father is in a coma when he receives a call. Rufus is living in a foster home after his family dies and he receives a call. Both boys connect on an app
For people dying that day.

Adventuresome, kind and thoughtful. I enjoyed this story.

This is an engrossing and compelling read despite it being the most dismal story I've read in years. This one may be on my Currently reading list for a while as too much of it at a time may be toxic.
