I can't get into it. Everything feels so tongue in cheek and everything the opposite of the way things are. Not my brand of humor/parody.

The best teen LGBT novel I've ever encountered. It was really hard to lay the book aside as the story acccumulates the emotion deeper and richer.
Meet Noah, a lucky teenage who broke up with Kyle and falls in love with Noah. Meet Tony, another teenage who keep his sexual orientation away from home. Meet other characters who show the complexity of teen love and friendship's rollercoaster. I feel I was there right in the middle of them, walked with them and handed hanky when one cried.

I love the other David Levithan books I've read, so I was expecting to really love this one, and I just didn't. It was more of a 2 star read, rounded up to 3 for the sake of having openly gay, and happily openly gay teen characters. Honestly, I think when this was written on 2005, the very existence of a book about gay teens being happy as themselves was revolutionary, but I think it's done so much better now. David Levithan has done it better since himself!
