Sophie Hannah steps into the ranks of many recent authors writing "fan fic" - fiction using characters of another, usually famous author, and creating new plots and mysteries for these familiar characters to solve. In Monogram Murders we have Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot solving a rather complex triple (or is it quadruple?) murder.
