This is not a story one should pick up with the expectation that they will have finished it in a few hours, this is a long, detailed story full of politics and family. There are many ways a story can capture your imagination, and this one excelled at humor, passion, care for others, and heroines abound. The men were heroic in their own right, too, certainly. It was brutal in some ways, and in every way beautiful in its craftmanship. A lovely tale from start to finish.
