The Vixen's Lead (Kit Davenport, #1) in Reverse Harem? Anyone?

This book was just okay. It didn't fascinate me, and neither made me eager to read the next one.
The story was okay. It's about a girl with super human powers who is a thief. She was abused while she was in foster care, so she and her friend set to steal from those people who once abused the kids in the orphan house.

She sounds strong, right? Yeah, but no. She is only physically strong. That's what I don't like about female leads; being weak. she is weak in every aspect that isn't physical. She so This book was just okay. It didn't fascinate me, and neither made me eager to read the next one.

She sometimes acts sassy but she's just a poor little scared girl. She definitely lacks confident and needs emotional support.
She easily talks about her past to people she barely knows. Stupidity or naivetés?
Her close relationship with the three guys seems unconvincing. She trusts them way too easily, while we still know nothing about them. Expect for Wes, the tech guy, who does share some of his past with her. I liked the slow pace of their relationship. They aren't intimate, but they are friends and I imagine more soon in the next book.

Aus's hate for her seems quite over the top. I mean, I'm with her for not trusting her, but does that justify the way he treats her? NO. he's a douche.

The other three guys are simply there. They didn't do anything special to make me like them or for the h to feel close enough to. their connection is insta love, super superficial.
Did I say that she really needs to deal with her emotional shit with people she trust? like her friend? not with guys who she barely knows?
She honestly needs a backbone. They even decide for her about contacting the evil woman. What does she do? She breaks the mug and the counter then stalks out to the garden and freezes her butt off. Oh and she stops talking to them while sleeping in there rooms. Who does that? Children.

She needs to speak and stand up for herself. Not just sulk and wait till they save her again so she can forgive them. sigh

and what happened with her friend Simon? totally illogical.
Oh and hear that. When the evil woman, Dupree, revealed that she was not human "So here it is, Christina. You’re not human. Your mother wasn’t human, and neither was your father.” An involuntary gasp slipped through my tight lips" OMG, did you hear that? She isn't human! *Gasp*

Kit is a retired thief who is forced to steal one last time to save her foster father Silas from some werewolf disease. She is a norm; a human, but seems a bit too kickass to be quite so mundane. She steals from 5 billionaire dragon princes and gets caught. Bring under house arrest seems to quickly turn into being mated to all five guys.
