I told myself that after reading this book that I would finally dive into other NON-Sanderson books to take a little bit of a break and read something new. And then I actually completed reading this book and uhm. NO. How dare I think that I can wait that long to figure out how this trilogy progresses!?!?!?

Wow, just wow. This book is the definition of an epic high fantasy. The characters and plot were faultless to me. The book, whilst huge never bore me once. Even in bits that would normally be deemed 'slow points' I found myself just as interested in them as you get more insight to the individual character. Can't wait to pick up the second book!

This is BY FAR the best book that I've read so far this year, and I cannot wait to continue on in the series. It took me a while to read for some time,
it didn't grab me and make me stay up whole night..
however that could be due to the fact that i have not really been in the mood to read lately.
Anyways.. I want to mention I am comparing this book to Brent Weeks, otherwise it would probably get 5 starts, but I believe its a great company nonetheless..
I wasn't a fan of the romantic relationship, it was a bit weak and forced and too sudden for my taste.
I wasn't sure about the magic at first, I've heard abo ...more
