There are so many things that I loved about this book: the way characters drifted in and out of the narrative; the creative way the author blends the past and the present; the focus on what is important in this life and the way it makes one realize how utterly meaningless material possessions and daily stresses can be and how utterly incredible the world (and human achievement) are if you stop to think about it.
