En toen had ik alle boeken van de 'Bijzondere kinderen van mevrouw Peregrine' trilogie gelezen. Ik vond deze trilogie leuker dan ik dacht. Ik wilde deze boeken eerst niet lezen vanwege de enge foto's, maar achteraf viel dat best wel mee. De foto's zijn echt een toevoeging in het verhaal, ze zijn er niet bijgevoegd om het boek mooier te maken. Ze spelen echt een rol in het verhaal. I am so happy with how this ended maybe a bit convieniant but still great.
Actual rating: 3.75
I've read the whole trilogy back to back and though it was really fascinating, it was really tasking,
too.
I appreciate the story and all the imaginative creatures and places in it. The third installment wrapped the whole story perfectly and I'm very satisfied ending-wise. It was exciting, fast-paced and I really loved the setting.
Another thing I liked is that whenever I started reading, I was immediately drawn in and into the story again.

I found the beginning of the book to be extremely slow at times. The reason the book gets such a high rating is the ending. I did not predict the conclusion of the series and in all honestly the ending blew me away (in a good way!).

This was a fantastic end to a fantastic trilogy. Although i thought that it wasn't as good as the other 2 novels (probably because i had super high expectations), i still thoroughly enjoyed it.

WOW. I can't believe how long it took me to finish this book. I was In a huge reading slump and maybe a 450 page book wasn't the best idea. Anyways, this book was great. It was my second favorite book in the series, next to the first one! Ugh it was just so great the only thing that i was underwhelmed by was the ending, then again, maybe I just want moooreeeeee!! haha anyways! 5 stars. Great book. Great series.
