What Members Thought

I've been debating on reading this book for literally years. Probably ever since the book came out. Every time I was buying one book the cover would catch my eye, I'd pick up the book, read the back cover, and then put the book back because I was afraid that the book was going to be too scary for me. Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs: 3.5 Stars
To be honest I feel slightly cheated, I went into this novel thinking that it would be creepy and mysterious with a slight Gothic edge which disapointly it wasn't. I liked the story and the concepts a lot. I feel like there was a lot of unneeded filler pages. The story could've done with out some scenes etc.... All in all though, good book with good action, and definitely some unexpected twists and turns!
