This was slow -ish in the beginning but then it picked up and I fell in love with Jacob and Emma. I hated Jacob's parents/family. They were so uninvolved and not understanding to the point where I wished I could reach in the book and slap them!
All in all I'm very excited to read the sequel! ...more

This book took me on an adventure! And I will be completely honest, I think Harry Potter was my last real adventure. And I read that a while ago. Miss Pergrines Home for Peculiar Children had me going through late nights of sleep because of my joy for this book, made me feel creeped out at times. But it was all for the good. Although there were some parts I just didn't get, it was still a great book, with great style, and great characters!
