I just finished it. And, this may be my shortest review ever, but this is officially my favorite book of all time. Made me laugh. Made me cry. Made me cringe, because it all seemed so real. My heart is racing, and I'm still shaken by the whole last chapter. Definitely earned 10 stars, but can only get 5. I truly think that I'll never enjoy a book the same way I enjoyed this one. ...more

I missed reviewing and marking this book as read somehow! I love Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. It was one of my all time favorite reads. After I finished this book I started collecting old photos found at thrift shops. I had planned to write stories about the photos and the people in the photos but that hasn't happened yet!

The book was not at all as i thought. I was convinced that it was scary and "peculiar", overpacked with the supernatural and stuff - and in a way it was.

I was on a journey that I never would have expected. I felt so tense while reading the book, it was as if I was there. I never knew what was going to happen next. The book started off at a slow pace, but then things sped up about 100 pages in and I could not put the book down. This is one of my favorite books that I have read and I cannot wait to read more of Ransom Riggs books.

I read this on account of the fact that it was set in Wales, I just traveled to Wales and wanted to read a story set there. It definitely kept me interested the whole story, the treat where all the photographs, it was certainly not what I was expecting. I was expecting a "Shutter Island" kind of story, but this was definitely a treat, I'm looking forward to the sequel

Well written and an extremely unique plot! The whole world was created wonderfully, the book just wasn't what I really enjoy. A great read and I recommend you try it out
