I know that this book has a lot of hype around it. Because of that I decided to wait to read it until I was in the right mood. That happened last week. Now I think to myself, what the hell did I had in my head to not start it sooner. This book was amazing. I loved everything in it, the characters, the plot, EVERYTHING. Oh. My. Good. Lord. Now I've read fantasy novels, but nothing like this, and...IT WAS BLOODY PERFECT. The tests, the bad-assery that is Celeana Sandothrien and just...EVERYTHING. I loved this book so much, that I don't know if I can do a full book review on it. And the romance....when I first read this in the summer of last year, I loved it. A lot. First read 7/14-7/17/15: I really liked this! I mean, everyone talks about how great it is so I shouldn't be that surprised. And everyone talks about how sassy Celaena is but damn...I was not prepared for her level of sassiness. I guess the only thing that I didn't like about this first book is how little we get to see of her supposed mad assassin skills. This is a series that I have been intrigued by ever since it was released but decided to wait to see if the hype died down (spoiler alert it never did) so I finally caved and started the series
