Hmmm let's see. It took me ages to get through this book even though it's just 400 something pages. This wasn't because the story was bad I'm just not use to reading high fantasy. But let me tell you all that is going to change since I finished this book. Celaena our protagonist is more than meets the eye as we delve into her worries and human characteristics which give away the fact she has a heart. Her skill as an assassin is a given. Sono passati ormai sei anni dalla prima volta che ho letto questo libro e, sebbene vi abbia ritrovato tutti quegli elementi che avevano fatto impazzire la me sedicenne, la me di adesso non è della stessa opinione. Ma, dopotutto, resta sempre un libro che è capace di catturare l'attenzione e questa volta cercherò di non fermarmi e di andare avanti con la serie.

Really really really enjoyed this book the second time around. Out of the series this was always lower on my list, but rereading it has been so good and has reignited how much I love the series. And after reading The Assassin’s Blade oh man. How did Sarah J Maas have such a clear vision of where the story was going? Even the small things, even the side stories from The Assassin’s Blade...so good.
And so many hints of what’s to come that I missed the first time around! Argh! So good!! Can’t wait t ...more

The last book I read that was prince/princess was The Selection Series, which I loved! This however had had a prince but the main character was more warrior and strong, and still such a girl! This is my new fav can't wait to read Crown of Midnight! A must read! ...more
