This book totally stands out on my bookshelf, not only because the cover is so beautiful, but because it's made such a huge impact on my love life (if I even have one) and relationships in general. For the non-spoilery part of this review, I will say that it's definitely a Jenny Han book that want to start with. I feel like after I read this book, I kind of understood Han's entire life. I did feel like the main character was slightly childish at times however I am interested to see what happens in the second book.

It's a 3.7 out of 5 stars for me.

I liked it a lot! It was a cutesy, quirky contemporary that really got me out of a reading slump. I was actually expecting more from it tbh. I had loads of fun reading about Lara Jean, even tho I had some problems with some of things she would do I think later on in the series she'll grow in different ways.

In YA literature the family tends to be there only when it's needed but in this story, Lara Jean's family is a big part of her life. The cultural diversity was great. Not only is Lara Jean, half Korean, but her traditions and culture also play a big part in her life. The romance was cute but I felt it was superfi

This is my first Jenny Han book and with all the hype I had read and seen lately I was super excited to get into this book.

I didn't realise until I had to stop reading just how immersed I had become with this story, and I found myself itching to get back and finish it.

I'm sure most of you will know what this is about, but here's a quick synopsis

I love how the relationships are portrayed in this book, not just the ones between Lara and her crushes, but the family dynamics as well
