The action was awesome and that is what led me to finish the book. But the thing that really ticked me off about this book was the amount of cliches! The plot was so meh, generic, and I hated the characters. I saw the twists coming from a mile away. This book took from so many different YA books, The Selection, Graceling, The Hunger Games, and even X-men.

I liked this, but it wasn't my favourite. At the start, I felt like it was all a bit too rushed and it just needed to be slowed down, and the characters were meh, but I did love the plot. I'll still definitely be reading book two though! ...more
