Am I kind of over the "this teenage girl is gonna overthrow the corrupt government!" trope? Yes!
Am I getting somewhat sick of insta-love and cheesy romance? Yeeaah!
Was this book mega-predictable? YEP.
Is it true that nobody introduced in books 2-4 ever held up to Cinder's characterization? ....yes.
But anyway... I love this series. I do.
I'm not about to proclaim this as the most amazing thing I've read. I'm not throwing it out as garbage writing, either. I've seen plenty of people do both. ...more

This review contains spoilers. I really loved this series but was a little disappointed in this final book. I had a few issues with it. First, I thought it was missing the fun factor the previous books had. I really missed the humor especially from Thorne, from the previous books. Second, it felt kind of hunger gamish, with the factions that were isolated to prevent dissent. A great conclusion to the series, I loved this story. Left me hoping to read more about these characters in the future but happily could envision them for myself. Meyer's writing is delightfully descriptive and you feel fully immersed in the world of Luna. ...more
