This book was not what I expected! I'm not sure if I mean that in a positive way or not just yet. It was far more gruesome than I anticipated and I must say that the pacing felt far too quick to me. It was hard for me to follow what was going on at times, especially with the added in complication of figuring out the dystopian world. This was definitely not the best apocalyptic/dystopian novel I've ever read but I'm still planning on reading the next 2 books followed by The Kill Order. I'm also l ...more
