What Members Thought
Dystopian tale of Beatrice and what faction she chooses at her choosing ceremony. At the end of this book, I want to read #2 to see what happens. Just under 500 pages, but a quick read. The movie comes out in March 2014, hopefully I will finish all 3 books before then. Highly recommended by the teens here!
I’ve had this on my TBR for a very long time. I am not a big YA Fantasy reader, but I wanted to compare the book to the movie. The basic premise is set in dystopian Chicago where the world is divided into five factions and 16 year olds much choose which faction that they want. They are then removed from their families and sent off to train in their respective faction. The story centers on Beatrice whose test results are inconclusive.
