I think Hunger Games is better, but this was a pretty entertaining read. I'll probably finish the series. And anyone who prefers this to Hunger Games, well, at least we can probably agree that it's worlds better than the hell that is Twilight.

I’ve had this on my TBR for a very long time. I am not a big YA Fantasy reader, but I wanted to compare the book to the movie. The basic premise is set in dystopian Chicago where the world is divided into five factions and 16 year olds much choose which faction that they want. They are then removed from their families and sent off to train in their respective faction. The story centers on Beatrice whose test results are inconclusive.
