I'm very new to the whole YA dystopian genre...I don't like science fiction generally...so this is a genre to which the Seasonal Reading Challenge has introduced me. The Hunger Games and Catching Fire have been on my to-read list for a while, and fit other tasks in the challenge, so I read them first. I think Hunger Games is better, but this was a pretty entertaining read. I'll probably finish the series. And anyone who prefers this to Hunger Games, well, at least we can probably agree that it's worlds better than the hell that is Twilight.
