Honestly, I've never read anything like this before. Great premise, great writing, and fantastic execution. I was leery at first, but after 10 pages - HOOKED.

I found the first half of the book deliciously creepy, insidious even. And then I'm not sure what happened - it just fell flat. I liked the premise, and the execution (up until the halfway point at least), but then it just lost steam. It felt like it lost its point. I wasn't a fan of the characters, or the ending, and I didn't really care what happened to anyone at all. Glad I got it out of the way, not sorry I read it, but it won't be one that I keep.

I really liked the book. Being a bit of a fan of end of the world books, I thought it was a fresh idea and very terrifying. This book has many very suspenseful scenes that were quite scary. I read it in just a few days because I had to know what happened. And the part at the end with the names made me cry. Great book!!
