Wow... wow, wow, wow... I cannot believe how frustratingly amazing this book is!! I just couldn't stop reading; having read it in half a day sort of proves how I just couldn't put it down. There wasn't a moment where I didn't not want to know or care what happened next. It's been a while since I've read Hush, Hush, and I remember it being just as good. And it's strange that the sequel was just as good as the original. Non-stop action was the key to this one, alongside a full-blown mystery. So ma Wow... wow, wow, wow... I cannot believe how frustratingly amazing this book is!! I just couldn't stop reading; having read it in half a day sort of proves how I just couldn't put it down. There wasn't a moment where I didn't not want to know or care what happened next. It's been a while since I've read Hush, Hush, and I remember it being just as good. And it's strange that the sequel was just as good as the original. Non-stop action was the key to this one, alongside a full-blown mystery. So many secrets revealed, but at the same time so many questions left unanswered. And of course it ended on a cliffhanger. I cannot wait until the next one (not sure if it's the final one?) but I'm so excited to see how everything turns out!

Ok, so it really pissed me off how Patch and Nora didn't have much of a relationship in this one. I liked how I was kept in the dark because it was crazy-good frustrating-and that's one of the reasons I took me a half a day to read it-but I just couldn't get over the fact that Patch was doing it with Nora's archenemy. Who cares if it turns out he's Marcie's guardian angel now that Nora said out loud that she doesn't want him to be hers anymore. It doesn't mean he has to sleep with her. I'm pretty mad about that. It doesn't matter that all along he loved Nora; that's not what love is...

Strange things are afoot. Even though I can't remember much of all the secrets revealed. I can't believe the guy that was the head of a horrible Nephilim/angel thingy is Nora's real father... and Marcie's? Or am I confuzing myself. No, I think that's right. In that case WTF? Random turn of events. I love it, but strange. But her dad, the one that raised her saved her life. I'm also confuzed as to if Patch killed her sort of dad or not???

Ah Rixon, how I hate you! Seriously, what is your problem. Patch is your best friend, you have history together and you sold out! I'm so glad that Patch got there in time and that that other guy was there too (Thomas or something? I should really do these reviews when they're fresh in my mind).

I really don't have much more to say. I'm excited to see what else is revealed in the next one and more about the secret society. I can only imagine what will happen, and I'm psyched to find out! ...more

*sigh* I'm not really sure how I feel about this series. I really expected more from this series but it seems to keep letting me down. I hate moods throughout the story. I felt a lot of times that the characters did not match the mood of the plot. I also feel like a lot of things do not make a lot of sense in the book. I had been waiting for ages for Crescendo to be out and the second sequeal to Hush Hush is far better than the first one even! And I liked Hush Hush but Crescendo takes things a step further. I remembered a while back when I was sad reading the synopsis, and then the first chapter to Crescendo because I knew something would happen between Patch and Nora, and look what, it did. I am so relieved to know this didn't turn out like New Moon! I was terrified after the first few chapters that I was going to be stuck with that kind of book, but it didn't happen!!

Nora and Patch definitely have their ups and downs in this book...and I still hate Marcie Millar...but I never expected her to tie into the story like she did. Patch is still a jerk, and now he's being more cryptic than usual; you can feel Nora's frustration because we all feel it too! Is Patch trying to fix things? ...more
