I was kind of surprised by how much I enjoyed this. Just like with Delirium, I'm one of "those people," AKA I didn't like Starcrossed as much as I wanted to but everyone loved it. I'd actually just finished reading Starcrossed right after Divergent, and while these were two totally different books, I wish I would have waited a couple days after the awesomeness that is Divergent or read Starcrossed before it. Who knew a trip through Hell could be so much fun?
I really enjoyed book one, Starcrossed, but I never expected to LOVE this book. I expected it to be good, but it blew me away. I couldn't put the book down and when I was forced to (stupid shiny job) I kept thinking about the characters. Starcrossed had its moments of tedium as Josephine Angelini set up her world. However, book two has none of those moments. The actio ...more
