Definitely not as good as Shiver, but an interesting ending... I'm not sure how I feel about the story being from four character's perspectives because it was confusing sometimes, but I got used to it. The intro of the new wolf Cole and the sort of re-introduction of Isabel was fine, but I didn't really need to know what they were thinking. And sometimes their voices sounded a little the same, and when I thought I was reading Grace's thoughts they were actually Cole's. I hope Forever doesn't add Definitely not as good as Shiver, but an interesting ending... Like this review if you wanted to smack Cole in the face and kick him where the sun don't shine! Nah, you don't actually have to do it, but honestly I don't care how effed up your past is. There's nothing that excuses you from acting that way. Cole was more like Jacob than Sam was. Okay, maybe not really, but I'd like to think so. I also wanted to smack Grace. She should have told Sam what was going on. I know she wanted to keep what they had because of how good it was, but she had no idea how much she was worrying him and maybe he could have helped. And now it's too late to find out.

Although I didn't exactly approve of the book from Cole and Isabel's POV, I did enjoy their hot little moments and they're both intense and haughty people. If anyone can break Isabel, it's Cole, and vice versa. But honestly I can't see them getting too far. Too much drama before a relationship is foreboding to what's to come. Kind of like Grace and Sam, who have no drama. Although now, with her being a wolf and all, there's a bog threat to their relationship. Oh how the tables have turned. I'm hoping for a happy ending, unlike Stiefvater's first two novels where it was a good enough ending, but not in any way ideal. Hopefully she'll realize people want the Hollywood endings even if they are unrealistic and give her readers the ending they want.

I think it's kind of funny that Isabel and Grace became friends. Two people with the opposite personalities. Good and evil. But I guess this is one of those situations where opposites attract, and they need each other whether they want to admit it or not. Especially after Isabel's idea saved Sam and killed Jack in the first one. They were bound to bond. Whether it's a healthy bond or not is still debatable.

I can't say it enough, how I can't wait for Forever. I'm actually glad I started this series late because I would have had to wait for Linger and waiting forever for Forever (haha yes I'm special) is hard enough. Thank you Stiefvater, for giving us something amazing to look forward to. ...more
