My review on my blog : https://marieslibrary.wordpress.com/2...
My feelings currently about this book

Okay , I have to be honest with myself and calm my inner fangirl. After a few days thinking about this book, I realised this was probably my least favorite Throne of Glass book so far.
Don't kill me please

My main issue with this book is Chaol!! I don't understand what happened to him. I don't recognize him. (view spoiler) ...more

I've just finished this big beast of a book and I am so happy. The ending will definitely tide me over until the release of book #5. And we all know that won't be for a while yet... -crying on the inside- Rolin forever!!!

More fantasy, less romance, same self-loathing, more POV, more manon, Infinite bad-guys.
I believe that from the first four books in this series, this is the best. It went into more high fantasy than romance(which was starting to get really irritating). I was disappointed with the way Aelin(Celaena) easily outsmarted Arobynn, thought it was going to be a Sherlock Holmes- Moriarty kind of battle. The twist with the king felt like Mistborn(The Final Empire) all over.

Sarah J. Maas continues to amaze me with her writing. She is just incredible!
I absolutely loved this book! I thought the middle got a little slow for a bit but the beginning and the ending made up for it so much! I'm not going to go into a lot of things here but I loved this book and I cannot wait to read the next one! The way this book ended .... I can only imagine what's in store for us in the next book! I'm sure it's amazing! ...more

Absolutely Amazing!!!!!! Now what am I supposed to do with myself!
Rereading this series has been so fun! I was a bit nervous that upon reread I may not be as big of a fan but the opposite is true! I love it even more and don’t know how I’m going to feel reading the last book in the series next month! ! Seeing all of the little details that I missed and didn’t know to look for. The World is so big and so many characters but Sarah J Maas planned everything out so well. Everything connects and has ...more

So for once I'm rating this with a 4.5 star rating because hey re-reading Heir of Fire opened my eyes to what an asshole Rowan is oh and did I mention Sarah made sure that Chaol and Celaena wouldn't be a ship anymore and that Lysandra was there to be Chaol's new love-interest because you know, fuck with the Chaolena shippers, yeah fuck them right for the sake of making C ...more

I knew this book was going to be amazing but it went beyond my expectations! By far the best book in the series and definitely my favourite book of this year! Loved every part of it and the characters just made it perfect. Really liked Chaol and Aedion a lot more in this book and loved Dorian and Rowan just as much. Filled with action, magic, romance, castles and kingdoms. The perfect fantasy series! If you haven't picked up this series yet then I suggest you should!

This will have to be my favorite book of the series so far! Without giving away anything the main characters develop so much and reveal the answers to questions from their pasts that have been plaguing me for awhile. New characters in Morath as well as just exactly what is going on there has finally been answered. So many great things happen but I can't even begin to talk about them without giving away spoilers all I can say is if you like this series you will love this book!
