As a fan of the book series, I have to say, that this is a very unsatisfactory Rizzoli & Isles story (even for a short one) unless if you are a fan of the TNT drama series.
The plot: A girl died in an abandoned church and Detective Rizzoli and Dr. Isles are investigating her death. First they blame the boyfriend and the girlfriend's father is angry.

This was a quick read during my lunch break. I do enjoy just about any show with Angie Harmon in it, so I watched a few episodes of "Rizzoli & Isles" and was intrigued that there are companion books.
This version included a sneak peek at the next novel which seems way more interesting than the short story it's attached to.

Not a bad short story, about 20 pages, good characters, okay story. A good read, especially as its a free ebook....
Super short, vampire themed murder mystery. Gothic vibes. A fun time.
