This book was not the best Jodi Picoult I've ever read. There were some interesting parts, like when she was remembering everything, but after a while, it got sort of repetitive; the same things, or almost the same things, kept happening over and over again. Overall, this was an ok book.

Picoult takes society's ills and gets it all down and draws us in. I found this book different as she uses Hollywood as her setting. Really unlike Picoult. But she does weave a good tale of spousal abuse and how people in the relationships deal with the problem. Good read.

Not Jodi's typical style, which I appreciated. Overall it was a very good read although some sections were slightly predictable.
As always, a line or two from Jodi's books always sticks with me from this book it was "(he) stiched himself so neatly into the weave of my heart that letting him go would mean unraveling myself." ...more
