What Members Thought
This is a classic Jodi Picoult novel. Like all her other books, it has one main issue. In this case, the issue is domestic violence and abusive relationships. Although the heart of the story is this issue, the book spends a lot of time on love and what it means to really know a person. The book is really intense... in both the romance and the abuse. As an avid Jodi Picoult fan though, the intensity made the book even better for me. Basically, any Jodi Picoult fan will love this book!
This really was a great book. I would have to say it is one of Picoult's best. It is the classic story of an abused wife who won't leave her husband; with a twist. Her husband is an A-List movie star and she doesn't want to ruin his image. Great plot and characters.
