this took me a looong time to read
maybe because it's
1. long
2. boring
3. slow-paced
4. it's about religion, mostly (no offense)

i thought of dropping the book several times but didn't
i kept on wishing/expecting for things to happen
rather, it brought me to sleep several times

the first 3/4 of the book made it bad
things started picking up on its last quarter
a court trial is narrated on this part which i found more interesting than the religion talks

if its any consolation, i find the ending good/nice/li

Well i started reading this with high expectations, it's by Jodi Picoult, what more could i expect?
but finishing this book today, i know she has let me down

to say i enjoyed this book is a understatement, to finish this book was more like a unwanted task. the characters seemed all the same, i felt like there was too much religious jargon in this book to actually fully understand what happened and it just felt too forced. i didn't fall in love with faith, like i normally do when i read jodi pico
