This is my least favorite JP book. Admittedly, part of the problem I had with this book was buying into the storyline. I just really had a hard time with the premise of a young girl performing miracles. The characters are well developed and interesting as in all of her novels. Parts of the story (for example the custody battle) dragged and I found some of the resolutions predictable. Her writing is marvelous which redeemed this book for me.

Picoult always comes up with new and interesting topics to write about and creates books I just can't put down. ...more
