grabbed my attention from the start
This would probably be a 3.5 star rating if Amazon would allow that. The book started off with a bang. I could put it down until I was about 50% through. The second have had less mystery but was still really good. I will definitely be reading the sequel.

It wasn't bad, but because I've read Harry Potter and similar stories of kids/people with special abilities/powers, I was a little let down. I'm not sure if I'll continue the series at this point. It just didn't match the bar that has been set by other similar books I've read.

audio book, male voice gave little strength to the girl characters. Not sure if this is a kids book or an adults, pretty graphic. It was ok.
