I'll probably add more to this review later. This book is still making me lose sleep days after finishing it, and I need a bit more time to process.

My mom has not stop gushing about this book since she finished, but after making it 203 pages into this 486-paged book, I am finding it really hard to finish and rather tedious to read. I love books about books, so the premise actually really appealed to me, but the execution--truthfully, this is probably one of the slowest paced novels I have ever attempted to read, much of the reason being that I quickly discovered Zafon's (yawn) formula, which he used over and over again: boy,obsessed finding ...more
