What Members Thought
I’m unsure how I feel about this. I’m not sure if it’s a 2 or 3 star but feel a 2.5 would work. I’m confused. I’m not sure if I missed something big and philosophical or if the plot is exactly as is and that’s it. I get the obvious themes of death, survival, survivor’s guilt, search for meaning in something tragic, etc. but feel like these were all random themes thrown together but that missed the mark. Liked the story, but felt some of the main characters could have been better developed. Hoping for a sequel so I can read the end of the story. At book club, I gave it a 3.5
I would have given the book 5 stars, but it ended too soon and left many unanswered questions.
