I listened to the audiobook. I'm having a hard time with rating this book. I found the audiobook narrator to be infuriatingly annoying, and I'm trying to separate that from my opinion of the actual story. In the end, I guess it was...ok.

This is sort of an epistolary - emails and doctor’s reports - compiled by the FBI, obtained by Audrey, who discussed it with Bernadette, and then mailed it to Bee. Bee then combined that information with her own experiences and wrote the book titled Where’d You Go Bernadette? I don't really know how to describe this book other than quirky, hilarious and very readable. I loved the unique style of telling the story through emails, letters, news articles and even police reports.
I'm not sure if I can say it's about one thing or another - it's about a family, a community; about people struggling under the weight of expectations of brilliance. Overall, an easy, enjoyable read. ...more
