Le Guin is my favorite writer. Lots of philosophical questions and morality plays in this science fiction classic. Very entertaining as a peaceful, unassuming man with a great power he can't control squares off against an arrogant, controlling man who wants to control his power.

That this ends with the reader not being sure what is real and what is not, is intended, but I knocked it down one star, anyway, because I didn't understand the role the aliens played in this story, and I think their rol
