True crime buffs, those with an interest in US history, the FBI, and Native American history, do not pass this book up. Well written, it is a black mark against the US and testimony against a great evil done against the Osage people.
Summer
This is a really important story that needs telling, but the content itself wasn't very well organized. I took pages of notes trying to keep everything straight and I think the author definitely could've helped the reader more in that regard. Still, it as a worthwhile read and delivers a great lesson about critically questioning the history you were taught as a child. ...more
