A good one (and another one off the Modern Library list), but if someone asks me for a recommendation about a covert operative written by a literary giant, I’m sending them to Graham Greene every time.

Certainly, this book is markedly different from Greene. It’s a satire, but it’s not funny in the way Our Man in Havana is and it’s more political than The Human Factor Maybe it’s fair to say it’s more of a book of ideas while Greene so successfully writes characters with human conflicts.

This is not an easy reading specially when the author style is very confused in my oppinion.
