Although I had read the book several years ago (and watched the movie), I decided to try this on Audible. I've always been engaged in the storyline. However, the ability to listen to Blatty tell it in his own words and voices is priceless. The novel is lengthy but Blatty's ability to change characters keeps the listener engaged. Do yourself a favor and listen to this one. Mine happened to be the fortieth anniversary edition. That tells you that this work won't be forgotten anytime soon. ...more
