I read Foundation in High School, then saw the first Star Wars movie. I thought it was so much like Foundation that it was based on this trilogy. I didn't see Asimov's name at all in the credits, only George Lucas. I thought it time to re-read this series (spurred on by the latest Star Wars movie). I enjoyed it just as much this time. 2.5 - At first I hated it because it wasn't the sci-fi I expected. Then I fell in love with the concept of psychohistory and devoured the first 2/3. The final third was so dreadfully boring and disjointed from the rest that I kept reading whole chapters before realizing I'd already read it(I normally don't need bookmarks). I'm just glad to be finished at this point. Not sure if I'll continue with the series. ...more
