This is the 2nd Miss Marple I've read and I must admit I'm loving them.
I appreciate Miss Marple's pragmatism and skill at observation. She retains a healthy cynicism about those around her, what they say about themselves and how this correlates with how they actually act.
I've watched quite a few TV dramatisations of Miss Marple mysteries, so although I couldn't remember exactly the plot of this one I did have an inkling as to the main twist.
