I absolutely adored this book. Such an uplifting story. From wretched beginnings these children blossom into happy and healthy loving creatures and do so by enjoying simple things like companionship and nature. The scenery is so beautifully described, I loved the mystery of the moor and Misselthwaite Manor. Just enchanting. I loved the way this story ended as well. I will definitely read this book again. So enjoyable!

I forgot how beautiful this story is. Yeah, obviously it’s silly and overly sentimental, but I just want to snuggle into it

Such a delightful, hopeful, and simple story. Full of kindness and wonder and the joy of simple things.
